Providence Creek Academy Library
Carpe diem

Welcome to the library at Providence Creek Academy

The mission of the library is to provide the resources, assistance and encouragement that enable students and staff to be effective users of ideas and information. This will be accomplished by providing access to resources in all formats, particularly books and electronic, by instruction on how to assimilate material and by working with educators to design learning strategies to meet all student needs.

In the primary grades, we intend to provide a pleasant environment that promotes enjoyable reading and general interest in books. It is important to instill in each child, at a young age, a love of books and teach them of the vast amount of information which is available at their fingertips.

The information on this Web site is organized in accordance with the Dewey Decimal System, which is divided into ten categories. We are fortunate in having at the outset many interesting World Wide Web links* within categories which you may want to investigate.

Thank you for visiting our Web site today. I invite you to bookmark our URL and return to it often.

The hours of the library are Monday through Friday 8:00am-2:30pm

This web site is under construction. Please visit us again as new material is continually being added.
